How do I adjust the firmness?
Unzip the outer cover, then the inner mesh cover underneath it. Take out a handful of shredded foam for a lower, softer pillow, or add fill for more height and support. Zip both back up, give it a shake to even the fill out, and it is ready.
Will I sleep hot on it?
The cover is cooling-gel infused, and shredded foam leaves air pockets that a solid block does not have. Air moves through it, so heat is less likely to build up under your head the way it does on a dense foam pillow.
How do I wash it?
Unzip and remove the outer cover and machine wash it cold on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry on low. Do not put the shredded foam fill or the inner mesh cover in the machine. Spot clean the inner cover if it needs it.
Is it firm or soft out of the box?
It arrives fully filled, which is the firmest and tallest it gets. Most people take some fill out over the first few nights and settle in from there. Start with a night or two as-is, then adjust in small handfuls rather than all at once.
How long does it take to get used to?
Give it a few nights. A new loft changes how your head and shoulder sit, and that takes some adjusting. If it still is not right, keep changing the fill. That is what it is for.
